Eilen avasin 12yo Famous Grousen, mun sivistymättömään makuun tosi jees!

Ei millään pahalla, mutta hyi saatana, vieläki ottaa päähän että menin joskus -07 kyseistä litkua skoteissa ostamaan. Käy heti paikalla ostamassa vaikka puteli Laphroaigia että pääset oikean viskin makuun

Oon mä tuota juonut, en digannut mutta en kyllä muista yhtään miksi.

No ei ihmekään ettei uponnut sivistymättömään makuun, eihän lappari mitään famous grousea ole! ;)

Onko Raskolnikov vertaillu uigea ja supernovaa, vai onko supernovan korkki pysyny vielä kiinni? Omista muutaman uige version maisteluista on jo jokunen vuosi, ehkä olisi aika korjata se puute ja ostaa puteli supernovan kaveriksi.

Supernovasta on pysyny korkki tiukasti kiinni ja epätoivon vimmalla yritän pitää tilannetta yllä jatkossakin.

Uigedail on taattua "räjähtävää" Ardbegia, kuivaan suuhun ku nakkaa tilkkasen ni se on ku heittäs kielen päälle mikrokäsikranaatin. Omaan nokkaan perus savuisuuden ja nahan tuoksun seasta nuuskin makeita tuoksuja, vähän ehkä hunajan, siirapin ja vanilijan typpistä. Toki ne 54 % alkoholihuurut ihan pikkasen yrittää häiritä tossa, pitäs kokeilla vesitilkan kanssa myös.

Maku voimakas, kuten sanottua alkuun suorastaan räjähtävä. Savuinen, tupeinen, tervainen, (meri)suolainen ja makea yhtä aikaa, maistuu kielen eri osissa (totta kai). Jälkimaku pitkä, päälimmäisenä suuhun jää nahan maku yhä sellaisella makeudella ryyditettynä.

Eikö motörheadin kaveriksi sopisi 12 vuotiaan tirppaviskin sijasta ennemmin vaikkapa Vat69 taikka Highland way (muovipullossa tieten...)? Molemmat toki taskulämpimänä ja pullon suusta nautittuna sekä asiaan kuuluvan motörheadin kanssa yhteensopivan irvistyksen saattelemana?

Ei ole. Kaapista löytyy 12 yo Glenlivet tuliaispullo enkä tykkää :/ Kai se täytyy humalassa kurkkuun kaataa kun maulla ei niin väliä siinä tilanteessa ole.

En erityisemmin tykännyt tuosta kakstoistavuotiaasta miekään. Melko väkinäistä oli juominen, eikä semmosta ahaa-elämystä tullut missään vaiheessa. Sitten metässä yhellä kuvausreissulla, vappuyönä, vetäsin sen loppupullon huiviin pullon suusta ja kyllähän tuo siellä asiansa ajoi. Seuraavaksi marssin taas ostamaan Lapparia pullon kesäjuhlille, sitten ois tulossa yhden vedonlyönnin päätteeksi kaverilta Lagavulin 16 pullo. Kuulemma on hyvettä?

Itse tykkään napostella viskin kylkiäisenä ilmakuivatusta salamitangosta veistettyjä lastuja. Varsinkin savuisemman viskin kanssa oikein bueno. Toisaalta huomioitava, että jos harrastatte viimeisen päälle vakavaa maistelua, niin voimakkaan makuinen salami saattaa hieman haitata aromien löytämistä.

Jos ihan oikeasti maisteluun ja aromien löytämiseen tähtäätte niin suosittelen ihan perinteistä vihreää kurkkua suupaloiksi pilkottuna. Samoin jotkut kevyesti suolatut/lähes mauttomat suolaiset keksit ovat toimivia ja tarjolle kannattaa asettaa mieluiten molempia, sekä tietenkin vesikannu ja vesilaseja.

Varsinaisen maistelun jälkeen asia tietysti muuttuu, varmaan tuhdimpi, hieman rasvainen snäksi käy. Esimerkiksi juuri ne salamitangot tms.

Minkälaisia ovat japanilaiset viskit? Kiinnostaisi maistaa, ei nyt viittisi pulloa mennä ostamaan. Ehkä jossain baarissa voisi kokeilla.

Japanissa tehdään todella laadukkaita single maltteja ja niihin suhtaudutaan aikamoisella vakavuudella. Hyviä viskejä ovat, joskin makuprofiileissa on aistittavissa pientä eroa skottien single maltteihin. Ei ole ollenkaan huono idea maistella nousevan auringon maan viskejä, oli sitten kysymyksessä single malt tai blended malt. Alkossa on muuten nykyään aika hyvä valikoima perustuotteita tuolta suunnalta.

Paria jaappanialaista single malttia maistaneena voi helposti yhtyä Sumu sanoihin tuosta, että todella laadukkaita ovat olleet. Tieten aina voi olla mahdollista myös se, että paikallisen hyvin varustetun kuppilan valikoimiin on eksynyt sieltä jaappanian viskeistä vain ne helmet kaiken ryönän joukosta.

Hei kiitti jäbät vinkeistä, täytyypä kokeilla. Vähän turhan tyyriitä nuo Alkon pullot (isokaadon mukaan), mutta varmaan jostain oluthuoneesta löytyy. Pikkulinnusta nyt ainakin.

Japilla reilumminkin ylimääräistä?

Oliko tuo siis jonkun yksityisen keräilijän kokoelma vaiko? Ei tosiaan persaukisen touhuja tuollaisen satsin kerääminen, tuohan vaatii jo oman yksiön säilyttämiseenkin :D Pitänee olla jo suhteetkin kunnossa kun katsellee millaisia keräilypulloja tuo setti pitää sisällään.

Juu ei ole, on vain yhellä tutulla ollut aikomuksena perustaa viskibaaria, ajattelin sille linkata noi yhteystiedot.

Minkälaisia ovat japanilaiset viskit? Kiinnostaisi maistaa, ei nyt viittisi pulloa mennä ostamaan. Ehkä jossain baarissa voisi kokeilla.

Japanissa tehdään todella laadukkaita single maltteja ja niihin suhtaudutaan aikamoisella vakavuudella. Hyviä viskejä ovat, joskin makuprofiileissa on aistittavissa pientä eroa skottien single maltteihin. Ei ole ollenkaan huono idea maistella nousevan auringon maan viskejä, oli sitten kysymyksessä single malt tai blended malt. Alkossa on muuten nykyään aika hyvä valikoima perustuotteita tuolta suunnalta.

Japsiviskeistä löytyy tosiaan vähän erilaisia makuja, paljon floraalisuutta ja muita hienolta kuulostavia juttuja. Esim. Yamazakin 12 vuotias single malt on tutustumisen arvoinen, voittanut pari kansainvälistä palkintoa eikä hinta ole mikään älytön. Turvepommeja ei kannata japaniasta etsiä.

Noista vois pari ottaa omaan kaappiin, esim. port ellenin 1-10 releaset ja nuo erikoisemmat ardbegit, näin alkajaisiksi. Jos ilmaseksi sais.
