GripMonsters organized Grip Strength European Championships 2013 at Nordic Fitness Expo, Lahti Finland. We had earlier this year two elimination contests for this big contest. They were Finnish Grip Nationals 2013 and Savonlinna Power Event happening. After those contests we had nine Finnish most powerful gripsters and two foreigner gripsters ready to total action. When the big day came five of those dudes showed to weight in 31.8 2013 at Nordic Fitness Expo.
All who follows grip strength in Finland knowed that this will be fight of two dudes. And that happened too. Juha Harju ( Rolling Thunder 2013 Finnish Champion & Finnish Grip Champion 2013 ) versus Timo Tuukkanen ( Merikarvia Grip Contest 2013 winner ) showed what is real battle. Juha wins thick bar and grippers, Timo wins double pinch timehold and IronHand 30kg plate timeholding. That was great contest at big stage and hall full of encouraging people. All went good and GripMonsters want to say big thanks for all supporters. We´ll see next year again!
