"The IFA executive board wishes to clarify a few things concerning the speculations over the last days. IFA has not, and will not, ban or in any other way prevent someone from armwrestling where they want to. IFA does also not allow its member federations to act in a way that prevents its members from armwrestling. After being in contact with the board of the Swedish Federation we have been assured that this is not the case. The Swedish armwrestling federation has not banned anyone, or prevented anyone from taking part in the armwrestling of their choice. Swedish armwrestling is recognized by the Swedish official government sports organization, who have a well functioning system to ensure correct procedures on all things. That means that any member can file a complaint against any member in Swedish sports, and have the allegations tried by an independent board that is not connected to the specific sport before any action is taken. That is what has happened, and that board is currently in the process of trying the matter, in which all parties are heard. The IFA board are satisfied that this is indeed the case and that no one has been prevented or punished for armwrestling"
