Flashback to when Derek Lunsford had just finished runner up in the 212 Mr. Olympia. Shaun Clarida would go on to place 3rd that year and first the following year and Guy Cisternino was making a comeback after shoulder surgery.

It was 2019 and times were different BUT the mission and concept was and is the same today. We do the Iron World Tour because we want to disrupt complacency. We want more people to be relentless with every day they have to live.

We link up with Guy Cisternino, Derek Lunsford, Vlad Petric, Shaun Clarida and Chris Pantano in Manhattan and then drive out to Bev's Powerhouse Gym in Long Island. The common denominator with the TEAM is that everyone has their own mission in life and the TRAINING and intensity we all bring to the gym and life is the common denominator.

After visiting Bev's we all link back up at Guys parents house for an awesome home cooked, authentic italian meal with some great unfiltered moments.

We depart for Columbus Ohio for the Iron World Tour with Derek, Branch, Michael Johansson, Johnnie Jackson and Guy Cisternino. We will see you all this week!

"Sometimes what you are going through sucks, but you are going through it with your lifting partners and just embrace it!"

The inner TEAM here at Destination linked up for a leg training session. They discuss how they cultivate the drive to put out 100% effort during LEG DAY. "I like lifting with stronger dudes because it gives me something to chase." - James Mottu "At the end of the day, when the lights fade out, you have to look in the mirror and be happy with what you're putting out." - Josh Smith

James Mottu is often the first face you see as you visit destination and has a background in powerlifting and bodybuilding. He and Josh Smith, a powerlifter and trainer at destination, have been training to prepare James to compete at the Phil Heath coming up in 5 weeks. Here, they link up with videographer Nick Del Toro because he wanted to learn the proper mechanics and cues for a quad focused leg day with the pendulum squat and hip press along with building some mental fortitude with a f.ck ton of reps on the leg extension.

Moral of the story with showing this session is to, "find what you like (in the gym) stick with it and dig in with like minded gym buds."

IFBB Pro Samson Dauda takes you through his arm workout 2 weeks out from the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio.

Life waits for no one! You either make opportunities and chase them or you remain idle and stagnant. Divine here is 10 days out from the Arnold Classic where he will get the opportunity to stand next to some of the competitors he has been wanting to get compared to and is anxiously awaiting this moment.

At the same time that the energy and excitement is high, Divine is calm and collected while executing the necessary to bring his best in terms of physique, presentation and confidence showing that, "he belongs there."

With this being the biggest competition outside of the Olympia, it is a great opportunity to disrupt and fight for comparisons with the best in the world. Best of luck to Divine as he travels to Columbus today where we will link up with him, Brett and Darwin along with the rest of the crew on Thursday.

Life waits for no one.

It is no easy feat to prepare for, compete and win at this level. We have followed Brett, Divine and Darwin for the last few weeks of prep and now its time to show up. Catch you all here in Columbus this whole week!

"You have to have a passion for it." Calum Raistrick is visiting from the UK and links up with Luke Miller here at Destination. Both Calum and Luke have built wildly successful coaching businesses that were created by following their passion to improve themselves and the standard offered when it comes to reaching individual's body composition goals in the fitness industry. At the same time that they continue to improve and streamline what they offer, they themselves are mastering their own goals and processes to reach those goals. Here they discuss what it took for them to start their careers and respective journeys and what keeps their drive going. Passion and purpose...

The whole purpose of these trips: it doesn't matter where you go or what country you call home, that love for bodybuilding and training is the common ground. Everyone has a seat at this table literally and figuratively. The bodybuilding and fitness community is united for the love of this sport and lifestyle and that is why we do these things. If you are willing to put the work in, you are welcome here.

No one owes you a damn thing but you can have anything if you're willing to put the work in.

This is part 2 of our Iron World Tour during the Arnold Classic weekend. The team drove and flew in to support our athletes Brett, Divine and Darwin as they competed in the event. We trained at Olympus Athletic Club, American Barbell and Metro Fitness and all got together to eat and have watch parties of the Arnold Classic events.

Stay tuned on where we are going next and why...

IFBB Pro Nathan Epler takes us through a back workout.

The Iron World Tour never stops. This time we set out from Dallas, Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada. This first leg of the trip we made it to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We stopped at the Big Texan in Amarillo to fuel up and check out the world famous home of the "FREE" 72oz. steak.

After that we take on some really wacky changing weather, from 40-50 mile per hour gusts to sand storms and finally make it to New Mexico. We check in the hotel, eat and head to train at Iron Soul.

The purpose of this particular trip is to break away from the business as usual routine, have some legit fun and scout this route for gyms and sites that we want to bring the team to when the Olympia returns to Las Vegas this December.

As this is being posted we have made it into Las Vegas and will be checking out Flex Lewis's Dragon's Lair, Hide and Iris's Powerhouse Gym, flying into the grand canyon via helicopter and sharing our work hard play hard philosphy.

In this throw back with Bernardo Costa, we revisit the "knowing your why" aspect of what we do. Bernardo is an IFBB classic physique pro. It took years of consistently lifting and progressing in knowledge on nutrition, body mechanics and training principles to get to where he is at now. He identified with bodybuilding and teaching others to improve their own physicality and health through fitness.

Your why is 100% dependent on YOU. What you want out of life and WHY can only be determined by yourself.

Why focus on differences? "100lbs is !00lbs where ever you are in the world."

The Iron World Tour is 24/7 for all of us. Here we finally get to Las Vegas and chow. Over the weekend we hit up Flex Lewis and trained at The Dragon's Lair. NO EXCUSES

We scheduled some epic things to experience as part of our work hard play hard philosophy including taking a helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon, visiting the Petrified Forrest and checking out Pioneer Saloon and Red Rock Canyon.

We also, catch Higetada Yamagishi over at the awesome Powerhouse Gym Las Vegas the second time we trained there this trip. It was a great reminder of the network and community you build.

We will have our Olympia week house here in Las Vegas as typical for the last 2 years. Hope to catch you in and around the party December 13-18. Stay tuned for details.

The only constant in life is change.

Ed Brown went through his early years in bodybuilding as a power builder/powerlifter, training with seriously heavy weights because he was (as he would describe) super d!ck and just for the love of hoisting bone crushing poundages. Now, he explains, that he wants to further his development and improve into his professional career but not use weights that could compromise his longevity in the sport ie pump and protect.

Ed's focus has changed from a weight goal to 100% bodybuilding and maximizing development. There are a lot of lessons and mental tip bits he shares here from his early training partner Lee Priest. Check out the full workout and the old school tips on training shoulders and biceps
