The Russian coal industry is on the verge of financial collapse.
The coal mining industry in Russia, on which dozens of single-industry towns, 650 thousand workers (including related enterprises) and entire regions like the Kemerovo region depend vitally, is plunging into a deep crisis.
As Rosstat reported, in January–April, profits in the “coal mining” sector fell by 93%, or almost 15 times - from 212.7 billion to 14.3 billion rubles. Every second company, according to official statistics, became unprofitable (52.4%).

Jos toi maa tuosta romahtaa kunnolla niin tää sota voi olla parasta mitä Venäjälle on tapahtunu vuosikymmeniin.
