"This Day in Armwrestling History…
September 19th, 2009 – Northeastern Armwrestling Challenge VII is held in South Norwalk, Connecticut. Headlining the event is a two-out-of-three right hand supermatch between world #1 ranked Devon Larratt and Dave Randall. The two had previously pulled only once, with Dave easily winning the encounter at the 2001 Arnold Classic Armwrestling Challenge. But in the eight-and-a-half years that had passed, Devon had come a long way. Devon wins the supermatch by a score of 2-0. Dave Chaffee and Don Underwood are also successful in their right-hand supermatches (over Frank Hirst and Mike Gould, respectively). In open tournament action, Anthony Snook, Mike Selearis, and Dave Chaffee each win their classes with both arms."
