Carbon neutrality — the key goal of the new Climatic Doctrine of the Russian Federation approved by Presidential Decree in October 2023. For her achievements by 2060 in Russia are effectively applied all available tools to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. An important role in energy plays the issue: to date, measures already implemented in the fuel and energy complex increase the environmental friendliness of its industries, and the share of low-carbon sources in the electrical balance is 85%.
