Jatkoaikavoitto Wildistä, kerrankin näin päin. Wildiltä vielä hyväksyttiin kaksi väärin tehtyä maalia, luistimella ja rinnalla tehdyt.

Katsoin ekan erän. Olisi taas voinut olla 4-5 - muna Detroitille. Paljon läpiajoja yms. Wild on aloittanut viime ottelut kotona, todella huonosti. Niin nytkin. Ei vaan Red Wing´sin viimeistely taas toiminut ja ekan erän maalissa pelannut J. Harding oli hyvä.
Detroitin pelihän tuo oli ja Wildin maalit kertovat paljon : Takapleksistä rintaan, luistinta väliin, sekä 3 metriä korkea ropellikiekko suoraan, käden kautta Wildin pelaajan lapaan maalin edessä. Minkäs teet? :D
Mutta se tärkein. Jatkoaikaa vei Wild ja rankkareissa sitten 16 laukojan jälkeen voitto Wingsille...Hatunnosto Filppulalle, joka 7. parissa pystyi tekemään maalin, vaikka Zidlicky oli onnistunut edellä. Miller sitten ratkaisi seuraavassa parissa voiton ja TÄRKEÄT 2 pistettä, niille joille ne kuuluivat.
Voitolla noustiin sitten Playoff´s viivan oikealle puolelle...:dance2:
Tähän kohti vielä lainaus Mike Babcockilta. Hävityn CAPS ottelun jälkeen...
But Babcock is smiling.
"Don't get me wrong, we're in the winning business and we need points, but I like the way our team has played," Babcock said. "We know we're a work in progress and we think we're getting better all the time. I think if you ask their team how our team played I think they will be fairly respectful to say the least. They got the points here (in D.C.) and that's what it is all about, winning, but they know who had the puck."
Lidström said he senses the Wings are back to playing more of a team game, and Babcock mentioned how nobody is losing patience.
They showed that Tuesday night by playing what really was vintage Red Wings' hockey.
They dominated time of possession and had twice as many shots as the Capitals. They became the first team since Oct. 8, 2007, to hold Alex Ovechkin without a shot on goal. They even scored a timely goal in the third period to take a 2-1 lead before it all evaporated.
