Yes, the master tapes for M-1 Global as in the only ones in existence. This morning I stumbled on an eBay listing that is so incredible, I will celebrate tonight by going to Red Lobster. MMA sites will rip this info and not even give MiddleEasy even a hint of a mention, but it's cool. We're used to people jacking our content. We hand out styles like ice cream cones.

An eBay listing entitled 'M1 Global HD Cam complete library only one in existence' surfaced a few hours ago with a starting bid of $0.99 (and a remarkable shipping price of $49,999.01). Check out the product description below.

"Up for bid is 171 large mouth Sony HD Cam 124 minute tapes. These tapes have one pass on them and are in EXCELLENT shape. This is the only complete completion as they are the MATER tapes for M1 Global's 2008 and 2009 season. These are the only copies in existence, there are no others any where. These are the MASTERS without any copies! You are buying these tapes as one pass stock ties and are only buying the physical video tape itself. This does not grant the license to the footage, but since they are the only MATER tapes:) I am selling these because of non-payment for production costs. Own a piece of MMA history M1 Global's 2008 & 2009 MASTER library!"

If anyone has has $50,000 that need to be removed from their wallets immediately, my suggestion would be to give it to me...and then if you have an extra $50,000, purchase the entire master tape library of M-1. Update: I managed to track down the seller of the tapes which is former Vice President of Operations
for M-1 Global, Jerry Millen. Here's what Jerry said regarding the eBay auction:

"I left M1 and it was amicable, but there was a huge amount of money still owed to me for the M1 Series production. I was told I would be taken care of, and I never was. A portion of the money owed was supposed to be for the M1 commentators, Jimmy Smith and Sean Wheelock. They were never paid by M-1, so I paid them out of my own pocket."

"I'm selling these tapes as a way to recoup the substantial amount of money that is owned to me. M1 didn't pay the invoices and the past year and a half they've been giving me BS excuses. I know financially things aren't well for them, but this is a complete reflection of M1. This is not aimed to hurt Fedor Emelianenko in anyway. He's been completely mismanaged. I hate to say that Dana White is right, but he's 100% right with most of the comments he's made towards M-1. They unfortunately ruined Fedor's career. Can it be salvaged? Sure. But M1 as a management company is ridiculous. You got to remember everyone at M1 left and they put Evgeni Kogan, a translator, virtually in charge of the company. Director of Operations? What is that? When we were there, we actually had revenue coming in and was producing a product. Now they have nothing coming in and it's in complete disarray. You can't put a translator in charge of running a company."

For the first time in a long time, Chael Sonnen actually had kind works to say about a fellow fighter.

Sonnen, talking with Bruce Buffer via Sherdog.com, was impressed with the performance Rashad Evans put on against Tito Ortiz at UFC 133. Evans won by second round TKO in the battle of former light heavyweight champions.

Here is what Sonnen had to say about Evans:

"I believe the best light heavyweight of all time is the Rashad Evans that stepped into the ring on Saturday night [at UFC 133]. A lot of people are really missing it, they're like 'well, he beat Tito and Tito wasn't quite ready' and I'm going 'wait a minute, Tito's always ready.'

"Secondly, let's understand Tito hit Rashad so hard two different times. Once with a cross and once with a hook that would have sent most people down and Rashad walked right through it. Let's understand Rashad was caught in a choke and found his way out. Let's understand Rashad went on an absolute sprint where I thought 'wow, this is great' because I'm cheering for Tito and he's punching himself out. Not only did he not punch himself out he did about two or three more of those sprints in the fight and then he finally did get the finish.

"The Rashad Evans that was in the ring that night, people really need to look at that performance. That was flat-out scary. Rashad moves his record to 18-1, that's the best record in our industry, a former champion, he could walk away right now and he will go down in the hall of fame."

Evans, who has been in line to fight for the 205-pound title since defeating Quinton "Rampage" Jackson back in May of last year, is still the top contender to face the winner of Jackson-Jon Jones, who meet for Jones' title in September.

Ei oo tarkoitus tehdä tästä mitää ranking keskustelua mut Rampage kuitenkin voitti Machidan viimeks? ja Silvalla ei oo alla oikeastaan ketään nimimiehiä toisin kuin Davisilla. Mut mielipide asioitahan nämä on.

Gilbert Melendez to Defend Strikeforce Belt Against Jorge Masvidal in Late Fall

Gilbert Melendez's desire to fight in the UFC will have to wait. The Strikeforce lightweight champion will square off with Jorge Masvidal in his next title defense, which will take place in the fall, according to Melendez's trainer Cesar Gracie.

In a Friday interview, Gracie told MMA Fighting that a date had not yet been decided upon, but that the camp had been informed of the championship pairing.

Strikeforce has not yet announced any events past September, but it is not expected to host any major events in October, making November or December the likely target for the bout.

The fight comes as no surprise. It had previously been rumored after Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker called the winner of June's Masvidal vs. KJ Noons fight a "frontrunner" to face Melendez. Masvidal won the bout via unanimous decision.

In his most recent bout, Melendez returned after a one-year layoff to crush the "Crusher," Tatsuya Kawajiri, in a 3-minute, 14-second TKO. The victory was the fifth straight for Melendez, who improved to 19-2.

Afterward, he spoke about the possibility of moving over to the UFC like teammate Nick Diaz, but it appears that possibility has been shelved for the time being.

Masvidal's win over Noons in June was his second straight win and third in his last four outings. The victory helped him improve to 22-6.

Masvidal oli vakuuttava Noonsia vastaan. Melendez taas on mielestäni kovin 155-paunainen mitä maa päällään kantaa. "El Ninolla" on vielä muutama mielenkiintoinen vastus Strikeforcessa, ennenkuin siirtyminen UFC:n tulee ajankohtaiseksi.

Taitaa tulla toinen voitto putkeen Machidalle. Davis on hyvin samantapainen match up kuin Evans, mutta huonommalla pystyllä ja paremmilla mattotaidoilla. Davisilla on paljon potentiaalia, mutta Lyoto on aika eritasoinen ottelija tällä hetkellä.
 
Kyllä Lyotolle veikkaan matsin menevän. Ei ole painijoilla ollut kauheasti jakoa Machidaa vastaan ja tällä hetkellä Davis ei juuri muuta ole kuin taas yksi painija.

Its been awhile and im back... Allistar Overeem and Golden Glory management are back in zuffa's good graces and have been negoiating in good faith and have come to a deal with ufc for allistar overeem im told this will be announced very shortly with the possibility of reem making his debut at ufc 140 and if not The January new years show...

As for Brock Lesnar his medicals will be back this week and a decision on his status for ufc 140 will be determined.. Brock is on his last fight of his contract and has decided not to renegoiate a new contract with zuffa at this time... Zuffa want Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir as there main event pending lesnars health but have softened there stance... With zuffa gageing public interests from reading varous mma related fourms and twitter bombing dana about the fight other options have been discused.... Like winner of nog schwab but nothing set in stone... Brock gets to pick his opponment for his return fight and all indications are He is going to choose frank mir... Mir expects this matchup...

With ufc 140 undercard completed there buying time to make a co main event and main event ... Co main event will be lyoto machida vs Franlin or bader and possibly davis... Zuffa dont want too book the davis fight and build him slowly but im told its also on the table but doubtful... Dan Henderson name is another possibility as talks have been good between both sides and henderson would take co main with machida for number one contender ... Dan has stated he wants time off but its a ploy for more bargining power... Co main and main event for ufc 140 will be announced within 2 weeks with tickets going on sale in 3 weeks as im told....

Meeting with showtime next week to discuss strikeforce extending there deal with sho sports... Strikeforce for the time being will not be dying there are plans like ive stated before to turn it into a regional feeder show and slowly expand out of there strong markets.. Zuffa was highly dissapointed with the strikeforce ratings for fedor vs henderson card as they expected alot more viewers....

Ufc is working on a multi network deal with fox and talks are still going on with spike tv... deal would be ufc doing 3 to 5 network specials in primetime on saturday nights while remaining on spike... there have been a few other networks showing interest and entering negoiations but zuffa has over priced there brand nothing finalized as zuffa entertaining offers but fox leading candadate....

zuffa looks to have gained barnett clearance for the next round of the tourny but his issues with nsac and csac will need to be addressed very shortly as strikeforce will not be catering for one fighter ive been told... The coker regeime are responsible for these issues and the inmates run the aslyum... Zuffa fighters will be going over to the strikeforce brand still and its being discussed this month has been the busiest month in zuffa history im told... Ufc is looking to expand to sweden and japan for 2012 and Zuffa will be expanding there canadian market place by going to alberta in 2012 also... Will post more info as i get it...

Tai sit Lesnar laskee voittavansa ja saavansa "vähän" paremman sopparin vielä, olisi siinä vaiheessa kuitenkin kaikki langat käsissään... Ei Dana voi sitä päästää esim One FCtä hypettämään. Jos joku pystyy yksinään tekemään vaikutuksen mma maailmassa se on Lesnar. Lesnar on kuitenkin Alin ja Tysonin seassa PPV myynti luvuillaan, 3 kertaa putkeen yli miljoona PPVtä. Siinä on jo tekemistä kelle vaan. Vaikka Lesnaria vihataan tälläkin foorumilla vaikka kuinka, miehen vaikutusta mmahan ei voi sanoin kuvailla. Vaikka on selvä ettei Lesnar pysty ikinä esim tysonin tai Alin uraa peittoamaan tai pääsemään edes rinnalle, ukossa on silti jotain sellaista mikä saa suuren yleisön liikahtamaan.
