The UFC may be in a lot of trouble less than 24 hours before UFC 177. According to a report, Renan Barao has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight against bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw in the main event.
Barao was reportedly transported to the hospital.
According to the report, Barao is feeling better, but he will not be fighting Dillashaw at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California on Saturday night.

Barão passed out during the weigh loss process. He was transported to a hospital and is better now, but won't face TJ Dillashaw

@vevyrodrigues WHAT???

@HeidiFang We are still working on the details...but he won't be at the weight-ins
This would leave UFC 177, which has already been criticized as a weak card, without a main event.
Earlier today, Henry Cejudo’s preliminary card bout against Scott Jorgensen was scratched after Cejudo suffered weight-cutting complications of his own. Without Dillashaw vs. Barao, UFC 177 would be down to just eight fights and the promotion would be faced with a difficult decision of what to do next.
It would be hard to push the event as a pay-per-view worthy event.
One option for the UFC would be to allow Dillashaw to defend his title against Jorgensen.
