The general public has some strange ideas about bodybuilding and the kind of people who lift weights, so bodybuilding advocate Carlo Ferrari takes the BBC Community Programme Unit and a handful of weightlifters from the gym to the local pub for a chat with some skeptics about the benefits of weightlifting and bodybuilding. To train and diet is tough. When you know what to expect, you know that the energy stores are going to be limited and you will have to really focus in and still get the training done. "Flat muscles have no glycogen so it is harder to get a pump and your strength goes down."
 



Brandon Barrow and Zac Leason are 18 days out and 8 days out respectively and are training as heavy as possible.
Here we are at Metroflex Plano training back and keeping everything the same in terms of exercises and intensity.

In this video, I outline the very basics of bodybuilding, and classic bodybuilding poses. I don't cover transitions or necessarily tailoring the poses to your physique, however, if you're a first timer, or you're just looking to brush up your posing, like and save this video!

This is the best way I personally break down how to embark on any fitness endeavor.
Have your very clear and defined "why" written out as a foundation to your goal. Then the training component will fall into place along with progressive overload and recovery.
