Who is the baddest badass action hero out in Hollywood or even outside of Hollywood, be it Bollywood or the Orient or Europe or South America?

After watching the latest Rambo movie for the 2nd time, Stallone is a strong favorite for me. Dammit, he must have been on HGH or something, as there was no dissing his physical condition, and Sly was literally as macho as macho gets in that role. I personally hold John Rambo to be compulsory viewing material for all males over the age of 14, as finding a better role model would be freaking difficult, especially in today's day and age or convoluted identities.

Arnold is an obvious neck-to-neck runner with Sly but I would like to hear some valid arguments from y'all out there as to who and why they should be counted in...

10% ALENNUS KOODILLA PAKKOTOISTO
I think Jack Bauer from 24 is a strong candidate.
Guy will do anything for the "big picture". I heard someone say that Jack Bauer would deliver the ring of rings to Mount Doom in 24 hours:D.
I guess Mika "Bisley" Nyyssölä is same side as I about him.

Well that is a tuff question.I may have to come back to this after some more thinking...
When it comes to action hero with astounding physics,Rambo certainly is a perfect candidate.Be it the skinny not so bulky from the "First Blood" or what he is today (I have yet to see the latest sequel).

I have always liked the Die Hard movies but...John McClane hardly had any muscles in his aerly days.Although he is tuff as hell.

Conan maybe. He would crush all the Supermans and Spidermans with his bare hands,no problem there:D

On the other hand, when it comes to macho actors,my alltime favourites are Mickey Rourke and Danny Drejo.
Heh,I just remembered Patrick Swayze, for a very short moment after a "Road House" he was kinda cool, but somehow I have an image of him wearing a pink ballet trousers.Ok back to the badass action heros...

As far as movies go, there's just no beating the classic 80's action superstars, all of which coincidentally have been mentioned already...

However, if we broaden the subject somewhat and include the world of comics as well, then there's no contest - The Punisher would simply beat everyone. Never was a fan of comics in general, but Punisher is pure bad-ass.

The two Punisher movies so far have been pretty horrible, here's to hoping third time turns out to be the charm with the 3rd Punisher movie (release due this december). Starring Ray "Titus Pullo" Stevenson.

I concur!! Jack Bauah' is da baddestah':hyper:

Steaven Seagal is absolutly the most brutal action hero

Marv from Sin City.

One vote for Sly, the greatest for sure. John Rambo is such an awesome man, what a great badass.

I'm looking forward to Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler, his new movie coming out soon about pro wrestling. Especially since I represent the genre and it's the only sport I'm really passionate about. Rourke was way bad-ass in Sin City as Marv, so this new one could turn out to be a gem.
