Today, we’re releasing the first part of a documentary series — offering a closer look at how our music takes shape, and the ideas and collaborations that drive it forward. Episode I focuses on the creation of “Fire Marengo", in the studio in Bergen January 2026, created together with Storm Weather Shanty Choir.

Our connection to the choir goes back to Bergen — a city where the sea is part of everyday life, history, and identity. We first collaborated on the deck of the tall ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl, and what started as a unique live moment has gradually developed into something more. Shanties were originally working songs — built on rhythm, cooperation, and endurance. In many ways, that energy resonates with what we do. This collaboration is not about contrast, but about recognising a shared foundation.

Episode I marks the beginning of the journey: "Fire Marengo Fire Away"!

Here's a new death metal song fresh off of the lot for 2026 boys. I just really wanted to go straight for the throat on this one! Didn't think it would end up being just over 2 minutes, since most of my songs end up around the 4 minute territory. I may put a little more meat on the bone, which I already have something in mind for it. For now though, I haven't uploaded anything new as far as recordings go in forever, so for what it's worth I hope you guys dig this! Thanks so much for the support as always!!!
