A character larger than life. Over 2 Metres tall, Peter Steele, with his often Vampire like complex towered over his adorning fans. He took no bullshit, he talked the talk and walked the walk. He would use his own blood to write lyrics on his apartment walls and became a god-like figure for many of his followers.

However, despite what most people thought was confidence, he was torturing himself at the thought of having to go on stage in front of thousands of people. With one show in Denmark pushing him to drink 12 bottles of wine in one night just to be able to deal with the pressure.

By his own words, he says at times he thought he was truly psychotic. Seeing hallucinations of a black octopus emerging from his toilet drove him to smashing it to pieces with a sledgehammer.

Type O Negative would become his outlet for everything he couldn’t deal with in the real world. He channelled his art, dreams, fantasy and demons into his music to create one of the most unique groups within the alternative sphere.

"Scent of Dark" is the new instrumental track by Tony Iommi, the founding member of Black Sabbath.
After an 8-year hiatus, he returns with one of his classic doom riffs that has influenced genres and musicians since the late 1960s.
"Scent of Dark" is also the fruit of the friendship between Iommi and Sergio Momo, the second guitarist and founder of the luxury perfume brand Xerjoff. This collaboration gave birth to this video, shot between the English countryside and Sudeley Castle, a tenth-century residence of Henry VIII.
