Nile - Annihilation of the Wicked

"We are now finished with the Mixes on the new Nile Album - Entitled "Annihilation of the Wicked". We are extremely happy with the Mixes Neil Kernon gave the new songs, he has given us a very clean, clear and honest yet Brutal representation of our new material.

Now we are impatiently waiting on the last step in the process- Mastering. We hope to have the Album back in our hands by the end of this week, with a release date sometime around March / April to coincide with our support slot on the U.S. King Diamond Tour."

"Based on what we have heard from the recordings so far, this is easily our strongest work yet. There are 10 songs as well as 2 reasonably short intro/instrumentals, with total album time weighing in at a pre-mix length of 65 minutes.

We are seriously intense about these new songs, and can't wait for people to hear them.

"World Management would like to announce that due to a last minute rehearsals with 19 year old bass player Joe Payne, Karl and Dallas have decided that he will in fact be the bass player on the upcoming Euro dates starting next week. Nile and World Management would like to publicly thank Steve Tucker who on the drop of a hat had offered to fill in if needed. He is indeed a friend and member of our extended family. Thanks Steve."
 
Promoa olen nyt muutaman päivän kuunnellut. Loistavaa materiaalia. Parhaat soundit tähän mennessä, uusi rumpali ei Roddylle häviä yhtään. Vaikea sanoa ohittaako Black Seeds of Vengeancen kun en ole sitä vähään aikaan kuunnellut.
Tällaista pitää death metallin olla :rock:
 
Pitkään Tätä levyä on odoteltu ja parin kuuntelukerran jälkeen voi todeta, että eipä turhaan kärsitty ilman Nileä, aivan loistavaa settiä. :5: :rock:
 
NILE have completed work on the first music video from their acclaimed new album, "Annihilation of the Wicked". The video, for the song "Sacrifice Unto Sebek", was shot on location in Atlanta, Georgia by director Chad Rullman (MASTODON's "March of the Fire Ants", THE AGONY SCENE) for Supercollider Films and features NILE performing inside an eerie Egyptian burial chamber, replete with actual design motifs of ancient Egyptian culture. The video is expected to make its world premiere imminently.

NILE's "Annihilation of the Wicked" album hit stores on May 24, shifting over 5,000 units in just its first week of release.
 
Tarttui levy mukaan Äxästä ja ensitunnelmat ovat varsin positiiviset. Rapsakkaa menoa :rock: . Imperiumissakin kehutut hyvät soundit ovat tosiasia tämän levyn kohdalla.
