http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWZdbMeo1lc

Kanadan JF Caron vetänyt ilmeisesti raakana 965 paunaa (437kg) ja näyttikin olevan karsinnoissa ylivoimainen ainakin sarjavedossa.

Super yoke 440kg/40m, ei hassumpi avauslaji!!! Veikkaan, että Hollands vie yoken. Veto Terry/Caron, unohtui laittaa Caron ekaan postiin, oli ottanut 965 kuten yllä olevassa postissa jo mainittiin...
Truck pull Hafborille,rock lift Zittikselle.

Kovia tuloksia taasen finaalissa: Tukin ME TAAS uusiks (oliko nyt kolmas kerta tänä vuonna..), 360 kilon tanko vedolla 8 toistoa.. huh huh!!

Big Z osoitti (taas) olevansa kaikkien aikojen paras voimamieskilpailija.

Monen ura on kuitenkin katkennut/hidastunut loukkaantumisista.

Kaikkien aikojen kovin ukko kyllä.

On se Iso Zeta vaan käsittämätön ukko. Tämä oli omalla perstuntumalla sanottuna tasoltaan ehkä kovin voimamieskisa miltei ikinä, vai mitä sanotte? Ja Sitruuna vei voiton kaikista. Strongest of the Strong, Zydrunas Savickas!

"Working hard to be the best, working out to be the best Strongman of the world.
Who will it be will be the one, who is the strongest of the strong. The Champion of the world"

Kilpailu tulee ilmeisesti joulukuussa telkkarista joltain kanavalta. Filmed for TV, the World’s Strongest Man contest historically does not release official results until after the program is broadcast (probably in late December), but with a live audience and 21st century connectivity, the outcome is known to at least hardcore fans almost instantaneously.

Finaali brittiversiona:

On ne kovia :)

Haffi, Shaw, Jenkins, Terry jne.. ovat kyllä sellaisia ukkoja, ettei tuollaisia ole nähty ennen missään lajissa lähellekään. Voima, koko ja liikkuvuus on jotain täysin käsittmätöntä. Ja kovimmat olivat silti liettualaiset ja vieläpä aivan selvästi.
