WHAT'S NEW
What a crazy few months it has been…. They say bad things come in threes and I hope to God that the Australia Pro show was the end of my curse. I went through some incredible suffering to survive the past few months and as a result I took my mind, body & soul to new levels of pain… which in turn made me a much stronger man. With the bad always comes the good and at the end I still managed to stay on top of the bodybuilding world. I have a lot to go over so let’s get ready to rumble.

THE 40 DAY FLU
“ Are you fucking kidding me?”… This was my quote to describe my 2004 winter experience. Starting at the 14 weeks out mark of my AC pre-contest prep. I was hammered this bullshit flu that was spreading across the country taking everyone out for the count. Folks, I tried every over the counter drug known to mankind and nothing worked. I then tried the flu shot and just got more ill. I then resorted to antibiotics and that’s right, you guessed it, NOTHING! The fucking bug just would not go away. Imagine waking up every morning feeling like you just went 10 rounds with the entire Gracie family… I honestly felt like I was dying. On 3 separate occasions I almost quit my Arnold Prep. If not for Barbara, Magnum, G-Money and my bro. Nick I would have never made it to the 6 week out point. Their constant encouragement and my will pulled me through. I fought it with all I had… no matter what I went to the gym everyday, stuck to my diet, and pushed through the cardio… And on top of all of the nonsense I also had to deal with the most miserable winter of all time up here in New York. I finally went to a specialist that put me on 2 anti-viral medications that put an end to the bullshit. Without a doubt this was the hardest thing I have ever endured in my life..."

Onko King parhaat päivänsä nähnyt? Vai nouseeko hän aallonpohjasta kilpailemaan hyvistä sijoituksista? Itse en usko mieheen yhtään, mutta pitää muistaa, että hän voitti tänä vuonna Arnold Classicissa parhaan posettajan palkinnon... :jahas:
