On his arrest, St. Cloud did tell cops the package was his, the sergeant said. "He stated his wife has nothing to do with the package — it's his package."

May 4, 2005 -- A Manhattan jury yesterday cleared a body-building, nude-dancing ex-firefighter of steroid-dealing charges.

The verdict had Rodney St. Cloud so overjoyed, he threw his tree-trunk-sized arms around his lawyer and squeezed - hard.

"He hurt my ribs," joked attorney Ron Kliegerman. "It's emotional," said St. Cloud - last year's FDNY calendar "Mr. April."

Customs officials had intercepted a box of 20,000 steroids addressed to St. Cloud at his wife's Midtown office.

But they never tracked the box to St. Cloud's Bronx home, and failed to clinch that he had possession of it.

St. Cloud - who was sacked after he started hawking a porn movie, "Muscles on Fire," starring himself, on the Internet - says he'll now appeal the firing, and resume his career as "Hot Rod" the nude dancer."
