BB PRO Flex Wheeler

This week’s guest is Kenneth "Flex" Wheeler. An American IFBB professional bodybuilder and Arnold Classic winner, Flex was once described by Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the greatest bodybuilders he had ever seen. In 1999, he was diagnosed with kidney disease and forced to retire. Everything he had built up to that point came crumbling down. After years of hardship, he wrote his memoir and has now dedicated his life to helping people who suffer from depression. In one of the most honest conversations I’ve had with a guest, Flex shared his darkest and lightest times with us. He told us about his constant struggle with depression, self-hatred and self-doubt and how he has finally found a way to love himself. I felt honoured to have chatted with him and know that our conversation will help anyone who has ever dealt with hardship.

Juuri näin. Ylivoimaisesti siistein fysiikka omaan silmään.

On aivan kasittamatonta etta Flexin parhaitten vuosien kunto ei riittanyt Olympia voittoon. Sama patee myos Levroneen. Kutsukaa minua wanhaksi pieruksi mutta olihan tuo 90 luvun kehonrakennuksen taso jotain aivan alytonta.

Vahan perspektiivia saa siita etta naista herroista yksi sai pro kortin NPC:sta vuonna 1991 ja muut jatkoi amatooreina:

1st Kevin Levrone (4x Olympia kakkonen, 2x Arnold Classic voittaja)
2nd Ken (Flex) Wheeler (3x Olympia kakkonen, 4x Arnold Classic voittaja)
3rd Paul Demayo
4th Ronnie Coleman (8x Olympia voittaja, 1x Arnold Classic voittaja)
5th Matt Mendenhall
6th Bob Cicherillo (Masters Olympia voittaja)
7th Chris Cormier (2x Olympia kolmonen, 6x Arnold Classic kakkonen)
