In a recent interview with Metal Maniacs magazine, EYEHATEGOD guitarist and DOWN drummer Jimmy Bower revealed that he is "sure we'll do another DOWN record. I've talked to Phil [Anselmo, DOWN/SUPERJOINT RITUAL/ex-PANTERA frontman] and everybody else. Everybody's expressed interest in wanting to do a DOWN record, so that's basically all it takes. Hopefully within the next year or two that can happen. DOWN records are fun. Phil's doing a lot better as far as handling [Dimebag's death]. It's been a big wake-up call for a lot of people over the the last five, six months. People are doing cool things with their lives; cool, positive things. Let's save metal!"

DOWN is the New Orleans "supergroup" featuring Anselmo, Bower, Pepper Keenan (guitars, C.O.C.), Rex Brown (bass, ex-PANTERA) and Kirk Windstein (guitars, CROWBAR). The band's sophomore album, "Down II", was released in March 2002 on Elektra Records.
 
Downin Euroopan kiertue alkaa 15.5.
 
Nola oli täys kymppi! Bustle.. oli taas aikamoinen pettymys. Toivottavasti Anselmo on keränny vähän ajatuksia ja nyt tulis kova levy ulos.

Downin keikalle pääseminen olisi helvetin mukava asia!

Vasta yksi varmistettu keikka. 1.6. Gods Of Metal festarit Milanossa, Italiassa. Mukana mm. Dimmu Borgir, Opeth & Testament.
 
Kirk Windstein: "I don't know the dates or anything, but we're coming over sometime in May and into June. We're doing a couple of festivals and I'm sure we'll do headliners in the U.K. — at least London and maybe one other place or something. It seems like it's really highly anticipated, which is good. Philip is doing fantastic, Jimmy Bower [drums] is doing fantastic. Phil had his back surgery, he's healing three or four months ahead of time, working out again, everything — he's in great shape, his attitude is unbeliebable. It's like going back 10, 12 years or something — his attitude and stuff. He's doing really, really good. He's pumped and excited about it, so I'm ready."

Kevään ja kesän Euroopan keikkoja kuvataan bändin tulevalle DVD:lle.
 
Ei oikein jaksa uskoa, että suomeen asti tulevat. Kuitenkin sen verran tuntematon tapaus täälläpäin. Mutta varmasti ainakin tavastia myytäisiin hetkessä loppuun jo pelkästään panteran meriittien vuoksi.
