Children Of Bodom - Blooddrunk

Children Of Bodomilla on valmiina seitsemän uutta biisiä ja bändi menee studioon lokakuun toisella viikolla. Tarkoituksena on saada ainakin 9 biisiä tulevalle albumille. Bodomit aikovat tehdä studiossa myös 3-4 coveria, mahdollisiksi bonusbiiseiksi tai sinkkujen b-puoliksi.

Mielenkiintosta kuulla uutta bodomiiki sitte ku tuo levy tulee. Ehtiny jo kyllästyy vanhoihin biiseihin. :P

Ai että, paljon levyjä, joista odotukset korkealla tai ovat muuten mielenkiintoisia. AC/DC, Metallica, Stam1na ja tämä. Tie my rope ainakin kuulostaa ihan menevältä rallilta, muttei kyllä kieli mistään mullistavasta.

Albumin tuottaa Mikko Karmila ja albumilla vierailee herra nimeltään Peter Tägtgren.

Biiseinä mm. Pray For The Devil, Good Morning Roadkill ja Tie My Rope.

Laiho: "I was in a really aggressive mood, so I think the songs are thrashier and faster than the ones on 'Are You Dead Yet? It's a faster album, but some of it is more progressive. You'll just have to hear it."

Henkka T. Blacksmith: "Now the guitars are mostly done!! There's only a couple of melodies missing, but anyway, we start recording bass tracks now, and then continue later with missing guitars. Janne [Wirman; keyboards] will also start recording his things now! Some guitar heroes were visiting the studio one day. Don't know what happened though, if they did any contribution to our album. Some banjos or what-have-yous were seen played at some point. I guess the cops had something to say also. And Mikko eats his booze nowadays."

Albumin nimeksi tulee Blooddrunk ja albumille tulee yhdeksän biisiä. Coverbiisit War Inside My Head (Suicidal Tendencies), Lookin' Out My Back Door (Creedence Clearwater Revival), Just Dropped In (Kenny Rogers) ja Ghost Riders In The Sky (Stan Jones) tullaan julkaisemaan albumin eri versioilla.

Mielenkiinnolla odotan kyllä noita covereita, Bodom on tehnyt helvetin hienoja versioita monista biiseistä. Poislukien mass hypnosis ja silent scream, jotka eivät oikein taivu bändin tyyliin.

Kovasti voisin sanoa odottavani tätä lätyskää, vaikka uusimmat eivät ole niin hyviä olleetkaan.

Jep, kyllähän tuo täytyy hankkia. Kovana bodom fanina, mutta omasta mielestä huonompaan suuntaan on menty, kaks edellistä levyä on kyllä selkeesti huonompia ku aikasemmat. Tai vähemmän parempia, ei niitäkään huonoiksi voi millään sanoa.

Laiho: "Blooddrunk is a lot faster and a kick in your face but at the same time it's very musical with a lot of melodies. And it's pretty catchy. That's what I think."

"I think one reason that the songs on Blooddrunk are better is that we had a lot more time to write the songs but then again what the fuck do I know? Sometimes it goes the other way around. Sometimes you need to do the songs in a short period of time and don't need to think about anything but now we had four or five months. Especially after two years of touring you need some time to chill out and... break some bones. (laughs) But seriously, having some time off and then you can start the whole thing with fresh eyes and I think it turned out really good, so I'm definitely happier with Blooddrunk than I was with Are You Dead Yet? And this is honest speaking and no fucking bullshit."
