Amon Amarthin USA:n rundi on ohi ja miehet pitävät muutaman viikon taukoa ennen studioon siirtymistä. Nauhoitukset alkavat touko/kesäkuussa.
 
Fate of Norns oli kyllä lievä pettymys, ei oikein jäänyt yhtään biisiä mieleen. Toivottavasti tekevät kunnon levyn tyyliin Versus the World..
 
Jonnyn kanssa samaa mieltä Fate of Norns albumista. Itselle parhaiten varmaankin heiltä uponnut lätty on The Avenger.
 
”Around noon today Ted finished all bass lines and added another level of heaviness to the production and, just to show his appearance, Thor brought on a little thunderstorm yesterday. It changed our bbq plans for the evening a bit, but we don't mind. Next up is Johan adding his powerful grunts. We have divided the vocals recording into two sessions so we will start with two or three days first. After that we take five days to lay down lead guitars and will continue with the vocals after that. This to make it easier for Johan's voice to last, since screaming 8-10 hours straight per day is not the easiest task!”

"Finally after five very long — but productive — weeks all recording is done and today we started mixing the album. Nine tracks have been successfully recorded — no thanks to the huge ammount of alcohol consumed, but nonetheless successfully — and we can now reveal some of the titles: 'Valhall Awaits Me', 'Hermod’s Ride To Hel (Loke’s Trechery Part I)' and 'Runes To My Memory'. More titles will be revealed shortly."

Metal Blade Records julkaisee With Oden On Our Side albumista seuraavanlaiset formaatit: rajoitettu punainen vinyyli LP, normaali CD, rajoitettu kahden CD:n digipack ja normaali LP.
 
Bändin kotisivuilta: "We will reschedule the Scandinavian shows to early next year, and hopefully be able to include more shows in the Scandinavian countries and Finland."
 
Eilen kolahti lätty postilaatikkoon. On se vain rankka levy. 42 minuuttia täyttä tavaraa, ei yhtään heikkoa riffiä. Ehdottomasti vuoden kovimpia levyjä.
 
Helvetin kova biisi ainakin tuo Runes To My Memory! Joku vanha Amon Amarthin lätty löytyy, mutta en kyllä muista että vokalisti olisi noin kova ollut. Vai onko eri ukko kyseessä?

Olkaa hyvä vaan. Yritän vaan kasvattaa Pakkiksen Pakkometalliosiota yhä suuremmaksi.
