Busy days
for the last 4 months....
We wanted to update you from the studio, but there was no time and now we have finished the album, which is for sure the most important thing to all of us. The new album is scheduled for release Monday the 24th of April all over Europe via SonyBMG in Norway and Roadrunner Records International in the rest of Europe. No American date is set yet, but it should not be too long after. The album NOW, DIABOLICAL contains the following songs: Now, Diabolical - K.I.N.G - The Pentagram Burns - A New Enemy - The Rite Of Our Cross - That Darkness Shall Be Eternal - Delirium - To The Mountains. The vinyl version of the album will have a bonus track called Storm(of the destroyer). Live dates are being set every day, mostly in Norway for the time being, but we obviously aim to hit the summer festivals in Europe hard. The first confirmed show is Oslo, Rockefeller 13th of May. but there will be many shows before that. We hope to reveal the album cover and have some music ready for you on this site next week already.

Welcome to the upgraded Satyricon website!
As promised we've got some more stuff for you starting with the front cover and a 1 minute excerpt from the title track as seen and heard on the opening page of the site(remember to have the sound on, on your computer!). There will be some new photos, an album recording feature with some of the bands own pictures and more, in the near future. A couple more Norwegian live dates and some European festival dates are on their way. We should know more about America next week!

Two Norwegian shows in May added to the Alive section and updated links and contact information for booking and more on the Artistic Society section. Now, Diabolical front cover and and a short musical taster coming up shortly.

Satyricon at P3 Sessions Wednesday the 5th of April!
As the first metal band in history...
We will play a one hour show live on Norwegian national radio in front of a live audience of about 100 people(that's all they can squeeze in there!) which are competition winners, members of the press and other guests. This is the information provided by NRK P3:

Transmission of the show starts at 18.03.

Satyr will answer questions from the studio audience at apx. 18.35
The concert will start at 18.55 and will be over at 19.55.

Satyricon video shoot and single release
SonyBMG will release a ltd edition single of K.I.N.G for the Norwegian market only, this coming Monday, the 3rd of April. It will contain an exlusive bonus track namely Storm(of the destroyer). The video for K.I.N.G will be shot in London on Thursday.

Our new EP which comes as a 7 inch gatefold vinyl single including a 5 track CD is now on its way. This will be the only physical version of the EP and the packaging is truly one of a kind! The tracklisting is as follows:
