Tanskalainen Mnemic on aloittanut vielä nimettömän albumin nauhoitukset.

The Danish Metal Machine MNEMIC have begun recording their yet-to-be-titled third album for Nuclear Blast Records in Los Angeles. Production is being handled by Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory, Threat Signal) as well as new addition Warren Riker (Down, Cathedral, The Fugees) who began tracking the band at Track Record Studios (Kiss, Megadeth, Aerosmith) this past weekend. The band had this to say, "Finally after 2 weeks of rehearsals and pre-production we've started tracking the drums with Warren Riker and Christian Olde Wolbers in North Hollywood. We've been really busy working on 13 brand new songs that kick ass, and along with new singer Guillaume Bideau (ex-Scarve) this marks a new era for the band. Things are sounding great and we are just getting started!"

This marks the first time that MNEMIC have done pre-production and recording in America and the second production project of Olde Wolbers for Nuclear Blast as he recently turned the knobs for Threat Signal's debut Under Reprisal (due out August 22nd in North America). He commented recently, "I'm honored to get the opportunity to work with MNEMIC, and I am actually a fan of the band."

The follow-up to 2004's The Audio Injected Soul, MNEMIC's new album is due out in early 2007

Semmoista mättöä tämä rokkiorkesteri on heittänyt ulos, että tästä odotan samaa tasoa ja vuoden kovimpiin lukeutuvaa lättyä.

Mnemic on kyllä mahtava ja täysin oman soundin omaava rytmiorkesteri. Menee odotuslistalla korkealle.
 
Yks parhaista bändeistä mielestäni ja tätä levyä ootan kyllä kun kuuta nousevaa! Toivottavasti uus laulaja osaa hommansa... aikaisempi laulu on ollut niin täydellistä ja iskevää että kuten sanottu, tätä odotellaan.
 
Mnemicin tulevalla albumilla vierailevat Jeff Walker (Carcass) ja Shane Embury (Napalm Death).
 
Albumin miksaa, yllätys yllätys, Tue Madsen. 13 biisiä on äänitetty, mm. Psyko Orgasm, Shape Of The Formless ja Into The Nothingness Black.
 
Uuden albumin nimeksi tulee Passenger. Ilmestymispäiväksi (Euroopassa) on ilmoitettu 2.2.

Mircea Gabriel Eftemie: "It's thematically built around the meaning of existence, or in other words, the philosophy of Existentialism. There are several philosophical positions — one of them being the value and meaning of the world around the individual, and the other is that Existentialism is often associated with anxiety, dread, awareness of death, and freedom."

"We chose this subject and theme mainly because it's so vast, and second, because we have always been big fans of Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' movie. We wanted to do something like that, just with music and lyrics."

Olen enemmänki samaa mieltä Imperiumin kanssa tästä aiheesta:

"Tanskalainen Mnemic on kyllä ihan helvetin härski bändi. Se pöllii julmetun surutta kaiken oleellisen Meshuggahilta, Strapping Young Ladilta ja Fear Factorylta."

Kuulemnma löytäneet oman jutun vasta tällä uudella levyllä, pitää testaa. Edellinen platta oli kyllä niin rip-off edellä mainituilta orkestereilta että pahaa teki.

Heh, minusta tämä uusin on selkeesti hengettömämpi kuin edeltäjänsä. Jotenkin tosi tylsä poppilevy.

Vedin parin biisin testii äsken ja oli muuten paskan kuulosta tämä uusikin. :D Kuulosti huonolta Strapping Young Lad kopiolta.. lähti bittitaivaaseen aika äkäseen. Ei näitä jaksa.
