Vaikka en mikään bändin suurkuluttaja olekaan, niin tuleva levy kiinnostaa.

"System of a Down will reconvene shortly to start recording their next album. The yet to be titled album will be the follow-up to the 5 million seller Toxicity.

According to SOAD's Daron Malakian the band is ready to start afresh "Two or three years ago, Serj and I knew that we wanted something different for this album" he said in a statement, "and one of the reasons for releasing Steal This Album! was to close the book on all of those songs and move on".

SOAD have been writing and rehearsing the new music in North Hollywood.

The new album will be emotional and very heavy according to Malakian. "The whole world's gone crazy over the past couple of years, so that's brought out a lot of emotions and affected our songwriting. We just want to make a great rock record, a record that will be heavy, but heavy in emotion, not just heavy in riffs."

The band hopes to release the new record by the end of this year."

Jeee! Levystä tulee varmasti vähintäänkin hyvä. Noi Serjin sooloilut tässä välissä ei herättäny sympatioita ainakaan mussa. Malakian teki taannoin siitä hyvän jutun et julkaisi Amenin uusimman albumin omalla levy-yhtiöllään. Oli jo aikakin. Amen rokkaa.
