Tuossa on vähän taustaa kehonrakennuksen vanhoista ajoista(1900 luvun alusta) esim. Joe Weideristä, Vince Girondasta, Dan Luriesta.
"Irrespective of Weider's advertising ethics, he'd convinced the bodybuilding public that his magical products are what built champions. The scheme was so successful, it's still used today.
Along the way, however, there have been those who were appalled by Weider's tactics. Others may have applauded his ingenuity. Whichever way it was perceived, the simple truth is that without Joe Weider, bodybuilding as we know it wouldn't exist. It's also more than likely that without the influence of Joe Weider, no one would have much of a "career" in bodybuilding, whether it be as a professional bodybuilder or a bodybuilding journalist. (For that, Joe, I thank you.)"

edit: mielestäni erittäin kiinnostava artikkeli, miten kehonrakennus syntyi ja miten se on nykytilaan mennyt.
