"Doomsday Machine" completed. Christopher Amott takes time out.
Dear Arch Enemy fans!

Arch Enemy guitar player (and my brother) Christopher Amott wants to take time out and fully concentrate on his studies at home in Sweden. Christopher completed his work on the new “DOOMSDAY MACHINE” album, but will not be a part of ARCH ENEMY’s touring line-up for the foreseeable future. We wish him luck.

Sharing guitar duties with myself for the next few months (including Ozzfest in the US) is our friend Gus G. (Firewind, Nightrage). Gus is an awesome player, truly a world-class shredder. We look forward to having him play with us! If you see him around this summer, buy him a beer!

Considering these recent developments, we have reluctantly decided not to play the festivals scheduled for Europe this summer. We are very sorry to disappoint fans in Europe but we will be undertaking an extensive European tour in the autumn after the release of the album.

The new ARCH ENEMY album "DOOMSDAY MACHINE" is probably the most intense and interesting piece of work we have assembled in our career as a band. I was at Andy Sneap’s studio in England these last few days and we put the final touches to the album – it is now mixed and mastered and ready to be delivered to our record labels…finally! Yes, it took longer than we anticipated, but listening to it now…it’s such a big step up for us – on every level. I am excited about the songs, the production and overall ÜBER-METAL feel of this new album!!! It’s definitely been worth all the hard work!

As ever, my deepest thanks go to the ARCH ENEMY fans whose amazing support and belief inspires us ever onward - Welcome to the DOOMSDAY MACHINE!

Nemesis (pakattu .WMA-tiedosto). Vähän kevyeltä kuullostaa tämä ensimmäinen lohkaisu.

"Nemesis" is the first single/video offARCH ENEMY's upcoming album, "Doomsday Machine", due in the U.S. on July 26 (August 22 in Europe) via Century Media Records.

Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Skeleton Dance", "My Apocalypse", "Carry the Cross", "I Am Legend/Out for Blood", "Mechanic God Creation", "Machtkampf", "Slaves of Yesterday", "We Are One", "Taking Back My Soul", "Opium" and "Hybrids of Steel" (instrumental).

"Doomsday Machine" was co-produced by the band and Rickard Bengtsson at Slaughterhouse Studio in Sweden and was mixed by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K.

Hey Arch Enemies! We sold just under 12,000 copies of the "Doomsday Machine", in the United States in its first week of release! We debut at position No. 87 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart...

PURE FUCKING METAL in the charts...who would've thought???
 
Nyt on levy soittimessa. Kuopion Äxään olivat tilanneet jenkkiversiota. Tarkempia kommentteja tulee useampien soittokertojen jälkeen, mutta kyllä se Angela murina on niin mukavata. :haart:

On se hyvä levy, mut ei ihan Wagesin veroinen. Bonus dvd:hen olisivat saaneet laittaa lisää tavaraa. No, aika hyvä teaseri siinä on tulevaa dvd:tä varten. Sen on sitten pakkohankinta. Angela nahkahousuissaan on namu.
Ja piru jos tulisivat joskus suomeenkin.

Jeps oon samaa mieltä. Hassun näköistä kun nainen heiluttaa suuta ja örinää kuuluu :) (en oo ennen AE:n videoita nähny, musiikkia on tullu kuunneltua useita vuosia)

Omasta mielestäni tää levy on hyvä, vaikkakin esim wages of sin oli paljon isevämpi ja anthems of rebellionilta löytyi enemmän hittejä, mutta löytyy uudelta levyltäkin huippubiisejä, esim juuri tuo my apocalypse, sitten nemesis, skeleton dance ja mechanic god creation, ovat huippuja!! :rock:

Nemesis on mielestäni paras biisi ikinä, kun pitää saada sytyttyä kunnolla koviin nostoihin treeneissä tai kisoissa. Niin ja Angela on todella upea! Pitää ehkä lähteä tänä vuonna ensimmäistä kertaa Tuskaan ihan vain Arch Enemyä katsomaan.
 
Saakeri ku se dvd julkasu viipyy ja viipyy.
Joo, tuskaan ehkä pitäis päästä Angelaa kattomaan, pahasti vain alkaa työvuoro sillon klo 22.00, joten vähän kiirettä pitää.
 
Yritän eläimellisesti päästä Tuskaan kuvaamaan, mutta haaveeksi taitaa jäädä. Käyttäkääpä suhteitanne jos vain teillä on ja puffatkaa pakkista sinne, että tämä on statsien mukaan 5-10 kertaa isompi kuin inferno (faktaa). Eli jos joku tuntee jonkun vaikuttajan Tuskasta, niin infotkaa, että olen halukas kuvaamaan siellä.
