Ajattelin, että voisi tehdä oman threadin pienemmille metalliuutisille joille ei kehtaa tuhlata kokonaista threadia. Paljon tulee uutisia vastaan kun selailee bändien kotisivuja mitä ei sitten välttämättä yleisillä metallisivuilla näy. Tässä muutama uutinen niin saa vähän ideaa mitä ajan takaa. Jos idea paska saa poistaa.

Hellhammer loukkaantunut & uutta videota pukkaa

Due to Hellhammers injury (the x-ray report confirms a severe neck prolapse causing his right arm to numb out) he will be unable to play drums for Dimmu Borgir on the remaining festivals this summer and the upcoming European tour, also featuring Amon Amarth and Hatesphere.

Hellhammer will go into treatment and a possible surgery for this shortly. Taking his place will be Tony Laureano (Nile, Angelcorpse, Aurora Borealis), who also played for Dimmu Borgir during Ozzfest 2004 and festivals in 2005.


Uutta videota tulossa

Dimmu Borgir will shoot a new video for the song "The Sacrilegious Scorn" which will be premiered before the start of the European tour.

Dark Funeral vaihtoi rumpalia & tupla DVD:tä pukkaa

Matte Modin on poistunut bändistä ja rumpalin paikkaa hoitaa Dominator. Emperor Magus Caligula on julkaissut seuraavan tiedotteen koskien rumpalivaihdosta.

One of the most frequent questions we have received during the last couple of years have been; “when the hell are you guys going to release a live DVD”!?. Well, you’re request have been heard. We are currently hard at work on putting together not only one DVD, but TWO double DVD’s!!!

The first out of the two double DVD’s is planned to hit the stores on Jun 18:th through Regain Records.

Official statement from AMORAL: bass player Erkki Silvennoinen leaves the band.

"The rumors are all over the net, so we might as well release this official statement ahead of schedule... Yes, Erkki is leaving the band. No big drama behind the scenes: he is simply involved in too many projects to keep up with our hectic pace. And especially now, with a new album coming out and tons of gigs and promotion to do, we need every member's undivided attention on Amoral.

Not one gig will be cancelled because of this: we have a few qualified bass players in line to help us out if needed, and already some very potential candidates for a permanent band member. Though we are gonna take our sweet time before making anyone an official member of the band, that's for sure. You don't just walk right in the Amoral famiglia, you have to earn it...

Erkki will play his last gig with us at Jalometalli, Oulu on August 17th. We wish him all the best with his future projects.

Ensilevystähän on jo kohta 25 vuotta (pilk. nus.)... Onhan tuo ymmärrettävää ettei sedät jaksa loppuikäänsä heilua. Arayakin näyttää nykyään kaikessa harmaudessaan jääkarhulta. Hyvin ne yhä vetävät, mutta ovat kyllä leponsa ansainneet.

Mastodonin laulaja loukkaantui vakavasti?

Raskaan ja progressiivisen metallin yhtye Mastodonin kitaristi/laulaja Brent Hinds on loukkaantunut. Mies sai vakavia vammoja päähänsä MTV Video Music Awards-tapahtuman esiintymisen jälkeen. Hinds on hoidettavana Las Vegasilaisessa sairaalassa.

Huhujen mukaan Hinds olisi joutunut hyökkäyksen kohteeksi Mastodonin esitettyä Colony of Birchmen -biisin Palms Casinolla. Ainoa varma tieto on Mastodonin manageriportaan ilmoitus Brent Hindsin kärsimästä päävammasta.

Hatesphere erotti vokalistinsa Jacob Bredahlin


"As a result of personal issues, HATESPHERE and vocalist Jacob Bredahl have parted ways. This has been in the air for a little while now and is without doubt, the best decision for the band. Having to tour with a person who's not able to give it one hundred percent in the future and vice versa is pointless. We'd like to thank Jacob for 10 years of hard work and good times, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours! This may come as a shock for many of you but we can only emphasize that HATESPHERE will continue and are already in the midst of auditioning new singers.

In effect of this and some unanticipated, economical circumstances, we have been forced to cancel our upcoming European tour with DIMMU BORGIR and AMON AMARTH. We are very sorry for that but have seen no other solution, as it would be too difficult to find a new singer in only ten days. The gigs we have after the tour will not be affected by this, and we promise you all to come back soon and make it up to you.

Jacob and Pepe have always been a part of what is called HATESPHERE, so no question that this is also weird for the rest of the band. As you probably know, Pepe has always been writing practically all the music, so as far as that matter goes, it shouldn't mean that much. Also, the song writing for the next album is about to start and we are looking forward to work together as a new and revitalized group.

We know all you fans will have tons of questions but what's been said here explains everything, so please refrain from asking questions regarding this subject. Jacob left on amicable terms and we are simply moving on. We realize this has to be weird for you guys, to see almost the entire band being replaced just within three months, but there's no other way and we have so much more music in us, so why stop now? Hopefully you will respect our decisions and support us in the future – We are still here and will be back sooner than you think, to kick you in the ass!
